Xenon Lighting For Safer Night Driving
When it comes to driving late night, most people find it difficult! Mist and darkness cause serious problem for drivers to see the road ahead. It becomes more difficult when it rains! Late night is the time, when most of the car accidents occur. Now, here is an enlightening news for drivers who engage in late night driving! There is a new kind of lighting available today called Xenon High Intensity Discharge headlight technology. This technology,
- Helps drivers see farther down dark roads faster
- Performs better in poor weather conditions.
- .
- Provides a sharper view of obstacles and obstructions, bringing objects into view sooner than traditional headlights.
As compared to traditional headlights, Xenon headlights are brighter. They provide an increased light output, thereby letting drivers see potential dangers sooner. They also add 30 to 50 more yards of effective stopping distance than normal headlights. Overall, Xenon headlights provide drivers with a clearer picture of what lies ahead and make driving at night safer and easier to navigate!
According to a survey conducted by Brand-Aid Consulting, many drivers whose vehicles are equipped with traditional incandescent headlights face lack of nighttime visibility. On the contrary, 91 percent of people who drive vehicles equipped with Xenon headlights get better visibility, as well as a greater sense of safety. The survey found that most drivers prefer Xenon headlights on their vehicles.
But, Xenon headlights do not come as a standard feature on all new vehicles. They are available only on certain models. However, in a response to the increasing demand for these lights as more affordable safety features, hopefully, automakers may offer Xenon lighting as part of standard vehicle packages, making it available for safer nighttime driving for every driver!
