The navigation system is the same as used in the year 2008 Impreza WRS, which lacks in some advanced features like traffic reporting. The year 2010 version can also be had with a satellite radio and the information of songs displayed on the screen.
One of the drawbacks of the Subaru Forester year 2010 model is its six-speaker audio system that lacks in iPod integration and performs a poor job. The audio system is limited to six speakers and tweeters of the system just blast out the sound, which won’t be pleasing for anyone’s ears. It seems that the audio system lacks in proper balance, thus creating a bad stereo effect for the passengers.
All in all the superb engine and handling of the year 2010 Subaru Forester makes it a drivable car for on and off-road exploring. Though the Forester 2.5XT is not a tech car and still has a five years old navigation system.
