Parents are always concerned about their children’s, especially teens’ conduct on the road as car drivers! It is very important to be careful while driving. The 2009 sees some of the best car models in terms of safety. Mitsubishi Outlander, Volvo XC90, Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Saturn Vue and Audi Q7 are a few to name! The 2009 Audi Q7 would obviously be a nice pick. The full-size sport utility vehicle  earned five stars in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or NHTSA’s crash-test ratings, as well as it has been rated as “Good” in front, rear and side impact crash testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The manufacturer, Audi has put its conscious effort to enhance the safety of Audi Q7, with driver and passenger head restraint whiplash protection; front side airbags for chest and pelvis protection; and energy-absorbing padding under the instrument panel to protect feet and legs.

Same is to the 2009 XC90, which scored the federal government’s top five stars for all seating positions in both frontal and side crash tests. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named it a “Top Safety Pick” for its good performance and standard electronic stability control.

In the 2009 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, driver and front passenger are completely protected by dual-stage front air bags, side-impact air bags, and emergency tensioning 3-point safety belts with height-adjustable shoulder belts. For second-row passengers,  there are side-impact air bags and pretensioning seat belts. The SUV has been crash-tested by the NHTSA. It earned top five stars for both front-impact and side-impact crash protection, and a four-star rating for rollover protection. As far as IIHS’ rating is concerned, the 2009 M-Class has earned its highest “Good” ratings for both frontal and side impacts.
