eBay Motors Launches New Hub For Certified Used Vehicles
The eBay Motors has launched the Certified Pre- Owned (CPO) showroom on Wednesday, June 11, featuring certified used cars and trucks listed for sale.
The eBay Motors, a part of the eBay Inc. is the Internet’s largest marketplace for buying and selling all automotive things. The site offers everyday cars for everyday drivers, as well as collectors cars, motorcycles, auto parts and accessories.
General Motors, Lexus and Chrysler LLC are the first brands to feature their dealers’ certified used vehicle inventories in the new showroom. Lexus is the exclusive sponsor of the hub.
GM Certified Used Vehicles announced in February that it would list its entire national inventory of dealers on eBay Motors.
The commitment was followed by similar agreements to list all certified used vehicles on eBay by Lexus and Chrysler. The agreement provides eBay Motors 12 million monthly unique visitors.
The CPO showroom features more than 70,000 certified used cars and more than 5,000 trucks.
According to the eBay Motors vice president, Rob Chesney, “CPO is actually holding up pretty well in this economy; it’s a great alternative to new and is a great value play for consumers.” Chesney further said, “We thought it was important to aggregate as much of that inventory as we could and bring it to our buyers on eBay Motors.”
