Choose your Car or Bike

Although vehicles were just used to be a mode of conveyance but now they have become a matter of passion and choice. Everyone has his different choice about choosing a car or a bike. Some are passionate about driving a car and some are bike crazy.

But there are few basic deifferences between a Car and a Bike.

As cash flow is usually a concern for most of us this plays a large part in what type of transport you decide to buy and use. There are many choices out there at your disposal. The two most popular choices are the car and the motor bike. So what benefits do each one offer?

Many people like to opt for a bike for their first mode of transport, and it becomes clear when you look at the costs. A motorbike is a lot cheaper to run and maintain than a car which is ideal for people on low wages as well as students. The insurance is usually a lot cheaper, especially if you decide to opt for a much smaller engine, and this will also result on your road tax as well as the amount of fuel that is used.

Although cars may be more expensive to run and maintain you will find that they offer additional benefits over a motorbike. For example a car is much safer than a motorbike. In the event of an accident you are protected, to a certain degree, by the exterior of a car. Seat belts provide protection against being hurtled from the vehicle and advancements in design and safety has seen air bags fitted as standard in most new cars.

Motorcyclists are harder to see, as many drivers just look out for other car drivers. Another problem that motorcyclists have to face is safety issues relating to poor visibility. Due to poor weather conditions and bad lighting there are many opportunities for these venerable roads users to be over looked.

Car drivers do have the added advantage over bikes of remaining dry when travelling. Unfortunately motorcyclists do not have this benefit and you really need to be prepared to brace the weather when opting for this type of transport.

Manhole covers can pose a high to bike users. A wet manhole cover can provide a very dangerous surface. Manoeuvring on a man hole cover whilst going around a corner can cause a bike to slip away from underneath the driver resulting both driver and bike hitting the road surface.

Hopefully this article has raised any issue that both possible car driver and motorbike drivers need to consider when opting for a mode of transport.
